Was in Dallas for business this week, was able to walk down to Dealey Plaza after dinner to get some pictures, had never seen it before. Pretty historical place. A7R3 & Batis 18.

I need to do a city scene someday. My closest as a crow-flies is Charlotte, about 100 miles away. Problem, consider my nearest neighbor is 15 mins min drive away, is getting the nerve up to be in a city!
A7II and C/Y Planar 50mm/1.7. I had forgotten how sharp this lens is.
It was afternoon and some dark clouds, so the light was very warm and made everything red or yellow naturally saturated. My usual walk down to the river and you probably recognize several of the subjects. Until nature wakes up it's not easy to find new things to photograph close to home. Shouldn't be long now!

I'm guessing this is the latest Sigma Sport 500mm EF mount with MC-11 adapter?
How'd you find the AF?

Nice to hear from you! Yes, you are correct that this was shot with the Sigma Sport 500/4 with MC-11 adapter. The AF with the a9 body was great in both S-AF and C-AF. Always difficult to give an accurate representation of AF performance, because, as you know, there are so many unique shooting environments and variables within each that can impact AF, but I'd say this was close to, if not on par with my experience in similar situations with a Canon 1DX and EF telephoto lenses. IMHO, that's quite an accomplishment for Sony!
Went out to get the news papers this morning about 20 minutes before sunrise and the sky was lit up in hot pink colors! The actual sunrise was less spectcular.

On my semi-regular walk around New Smyrna Dunes park, took this across Ponce Inlet.
That is the Port Orange beach in the foreground, with condos in Port Orange, going up to Daytona Beach, in the background.
A bit of atmospheric distortion at those distances.

I see the picture and I think to myself - this must be Helena.Why?Because all of her pictures are repeatedly unique,stylish and excellent.And they are always like this.
Looks like someone is trying to save the old house by applying a new roof?
