I'm wondering about the 50mm. Is it a 50mm Minolta Maxxum AF and if it is, is it the F/1.7? I have this particular lens, but I don't have a Sony. I inherited it along with some other Minolta lenses. I've sold all but the 50mm and a 28mm F/2.8. I like the 28mm, but I already have a great 50mm Canon so I don't need the 50mm. I was just wondering what quality of photos this particular lens takes.
I've cycled across commonwealth avenue bridge maybe a thousand times (I grew up in Canberra) but had completely forgotten that it's divided in two like that! I had to go look at google earth to convince myself you didn't do some weird post processing!
I helped photograph the St Vincent show in Omaha with an A7 + noctilux / 35 FD TS. Were you at the same show? I noticed one other photog there. Some of my shots from the event:

i was at the Philly show, but i absolutely LOVE your shots of her. great job man, very creative and awesome processing. Id really like to play with a TS lens at some point, but a little out of my price range atm
Great shots and great thread !!
I see several ~50 mm lenses from Voightlander, Canon, Contax, Nikon, etc... and not much Zeiss 55 mm f1.8. Why is the reason? Does the other non natives lenses work better than the Zeiss 55 mm or you already have these so is not worth buying the Zeiss?
I have the A7 with LA-EA4 and several lenses for Sony alpha, including a Minolta 50 mm f1.7, but I'm considering buying the Zeiss 55 mm.
Thanks in advance.

From a one week photo trip in Saxon Switzerland, with beautiful FE 55.
It's really hard to catch up with this fast moving thread with so many beautiful pictures.
I couldn't agree more Klaus (beautiful landscapes BTW).
4 quick shots with a newly-acquired Summicron 50 Dual Range, on A7R, probably at f2.8 - 4.0, except for #3
Busy at work and autumn (fall) days means no chance to shoot during the week (unless I get up and try before work), or a quick visit to grab lunch at a garden-centre café, as these 4.
