some dude brought his pet to the windiest part of SF and it got temporarily lost. perhaps it wasn't in shape for the work out of flying around twin peaks?
I am deciding if I should finally get Summilux-M 50 asph or stick to CV 50 1.5 plus my other 50mm lenses for now and my nieces are working hard helping my preparation work.
Lux 50 asph appears to be ‘The 50’ to have but my liking is more towards more older, classic look. Didn’t have a chance to compare CV 50/1.5, Zeiss ZM Sonnar C 50/1.5 and Mandler’s Lux 50 pre-asph, but perhaps any of them plus Zeiss ZM Planar 50 would make decent 50mm set for mirrorless cameras now and further down the road.
My first post on this great forum, after lurking for several months and marveling at the pictures in this thread. Edit: Sorry, it took me a while to figure out how to make the pictures show up correctly.

Thanks Gregg,
i used to shoot the Nocti for a long time. First on film with the M 6 than with a M8. After sitting in the vitrine for a longer time the A7R gave it new life and it is for me better than the Leica's. As good as the rangefinder is i always had problems with the Noctilux and focus.
@ Roxan: Grazie mille!
Here is a shot that shows the sharpness of the Nocti stopped down:
