Interesting looking boke wide open, but I generally prefer smoother. Luckily this lens has 8 aperture blades and can be used closed down without hexacones.

Not trying to compete with Ronny but this is an image from Jökulsárlón in March 2015 on my second visit to Iceland. I revisited the folder after that long and they are a few images that languished there unprocessed. Here is one of them. BTW, I didn't use Sony during my first visit and I only had 2 Sony FE lenses back then and they are both zoom lenses, 24-70mm f/4 used for this one and the 70-200mm f/4 plus 2 Canon lenses.
I've started working up my images from last week's trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in N. Michigan, which include lots of infrared. I've done a group with the Russian Monolens, 50mm model as used so well by Helena, Douglas, and Dale; these are my first with that lens, and still in experimentation stages.
Thanks to Helena for her advance info on the lens, and special thanks to Douglas, who kindly loaned his lens to me when mine arrived from Russia with the wrong mount!

Still experimenting with the Monocle 50mm lens. These shots were taken with a A7RII and a 14mm extension tube. Really like the creative images coming from those who purchased this strange lens.
