I don't see problems with corners/edges as such but they're pretty weak (soft) for my liking. I am slowly getting into the 24mm territory and this is probably my first lens in that focal length so don't really know if it's better or worse than the others out there. However, I must say it renders very well in good light, I am liking it so far.
Tennclay,
Very nice! I'm assuming it's the V2? I have the V1 and don't see performance anywhere close to this.
Yes, it is the V2. I had the 1st version and there is a significant difference IMO.
Yes, corners require some work, but manageable. When converting to B/W I don't do anything to
corners at all, and for color pictures cornerfix takes care of most of the problems.
The microcontrast and resolution coming out of this lens is unbelievable on the other hand. At least, compared to my zuiko primes (well, maybe except 21/2).

Jako, great colors with ZM 35/2. Do you see any problems with it on A7?
It does have soft corners when used at f/2 - f/4. The softnass (or smearing if you prefer) doesn't go away entirely, but it's barely noticable at f/8 - f/11.
I do use CornerFix for shots in f/2 to f/4 range, but it depands on a background and lighting.
Interestingly, Volgtlander discontinued its VM-E adapter due to issues mentioned above, but their new, version II adapter (to be release by the end of April, 2014) supposed to address these problems for Voigtlander VM and Zeiss ZM lenses. Will see.
For me Biogon 2/35 permamently replaced my Distagon 2/35 ZF.2 and I am more than happy with the decision.
This is as bad as it gets; shot at f/5.6 focussing at infinity.
Till then, shoot avoiding its weak spots, just like with all other lenses.
