Beautiful images Taylor! I'm really Jonesin' now!! My father in law bought a lot with plans in the middle of Princeville, Kauai just last year! He says "for investment purposes", and my wife turned around and told her dad, "Bull crap! Start building!"...
Needless to say, it's not yet, but when we go, we always rent Condos through VRBO, and typically in the Princeville area. With two boys(who can both swim mind you, we DO live in Santa Cruz), we spend most of our time at Hanalei Bay...

^^^^ Jack...wonderful shots! I don't know how you do it, but your images are always stunning!
Very nice images, also Toshiro! I really like the BW's!
A couple more with the R Lux 50, wide open @ 1.4

Jako, great colors with ZM 35/2. Do you see any problems with it on A7?
Samuli, awesome forest shots as usual. I also started doing some forest shooting but didn't have much success yet. Getting the right contrast and depth of field is hard!
Some from today's lunch at a local winery! The Zeiss ZE 18mm f/3.5 is a great super wide-angle option for the a7R. Weight is reasonable; roughly 500g. Balances well on the camera body too. That and the image quality is outstanding (in my mind at least!)
Zeiss ZE 18mm f/3.5 for the first shot and the Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 for the rest, which definitely lives up its reputation as an amazing lens!
First time after 3 years from purchase I gave a try to my late MC Tele Rokkor 200/4.As it was stated by others,it does very well on the A7.Very little CA and LoCA wo,even in the contrasty lighting.
A7+MC Tele Rokkor 200/4
The other one,MD 135/2.8,4 lenser, told to be very good on NEXes, was later on asessed to be poorer performer on the A7than the MD 100/2.5.Well.I don't think so.It has some more LoCA/CA wo,but is still very sharp and very good overall. As good as the 100/2.5 MD.

Thanks.
Depth of the field is difficult, I have always feeling that I can't get it narrow enough or I don't have enough of it, so I'm more or less selecting the best I can get from equipment I have.
Contrast, hope for semi-cloudy and wait that edge of cloud is between sun and your subject and you get nice light, which gives contrast, but isn't too hard.
