Ice from Iceland. During our trip to Iceland, we gave rides to 4 different groups of hitch hikers, one guy, five girls. Sadly it's not something I would do in the U.S. The guy told us he had hiked 340 kms, and the way he smelled, probably he hadn't showered since he hiked the 340 kms . nevertheless, we had a good chat.
A few from Lincoln recently, one of my favourite UK Cities. I spent some time there as a teenager in the 1960's but was a little too hedonistic then to appreciate it.

Peire,
Fantastic flower shots by you.
You must be one of Nestle's favorite customers.
I usually savor one or two cups in the morning and
occasionally another one in the afternoon.
However, my A7R does not have IBSS so moderation is called for..

Gregg, thank you! That GM lens is really my go to lens if it is coming down to portraits.
The second image you posted is excellent. I love it!

The same model as in the previous page, Lilly, but I used another great portrait lens this time around. I went back to the images I took of her earlier in the year of her and discovered a lot of images that originally didn't cut it. This one is fine in the uncropped version but better cropped for my taste. Here is where the crop-ability of the A7r II comes in handy.
The background is the fairly new structure of the Orange County Transport station in Anaheim viewed from the parking lot. Yes, it is at a distance alright, rendering the bokeh smooth. Is the bokeh too smooth or it is fine the way it is? The only lens that comes close in rendering this kind of bokeh at 135mm lens is the Sony A mount f/1.8 Z. Both are bulky and heavy but I am willing to put up with those "disadvantages" as long as the lens delivers the goods and both didn't disappoint. However, I sold the Sony since I prefer the Sigma for its better AF capability via Metabones. Plus, I didn't notice any CA, nor purple fringing (longitudinal CA) with the Sigma although admittedly I wasn't looking for any but those issues were visible in images taken under certain circumstances with the Sony A-mount lens.
