I had a chance to dig more into the files from a recent trip to Death Valley. Here are a few more then....
I am wonder why you''re not posting these image at canon forum after all they are made from canon lens. I really love these shots, Joshua. Very well done.
Taylor...seeing shots like that is making me jones hard for Kauai!! We've got a 2 week trip planned in August...and I can barely contain myself! Where did you stay? We usually go every year, but we missed last year

Shut the front door! Poipu? That place is GRAND, with a capital G! Good for you! Last time we were there, I tries to slip the towel ladies a $50, so we could go on the water slides...unfortunately, they declined. . This time it's going to be a $100!!

hello Veeresh, what about edges, corners? Elmarit R 24mm is similar (or identical) to Minolta 24mm MD/MC, any problems with?
Hi,
I don't see problems with corners/edges as such but they're pretty weak (soft) for my liking. I am slowly getting into the 24mm territory and this is probably my first lens in that focal length so don't really know if it's better or worse than the others out there. However, I must say it renders very well in good light, I am liking it so far.
Tennclay,
Very nice! I'm assuming it's the V2? I have the V1 and don't see performance anywhere close to this.
wait – is this 2 different images that you put together, one at f/2 and one at f/5.6?

when we went (nearly 5 years ago) we stayed at a couple of the houses we found on VRBO. they were much nicer and much cheaper than a single room at any of the big hotels. came with mai tais and various beach equipment as well, but no crazy pool and water slide.

Yeah. The Hyatt is pretty great as far as giant resorts go, but if we were travelling on our own I don't think we'd pick it but this was a company thing.
Here are some more photos from the trip, all with the Super-Elmar 21/3.4
