Nice Jordan...I have the Tokina version and it's an incredible lens. From macros to landscapes to portraits(a little too sharp maybe!), and it's rendering is up there with the best of them!
A couple BW's from the beach again!

Thank you, Philippe! Another great image you got there!

While I am impressed with the 100-400mm GM lens, but in terms of bokeh rendition and also resolving power, the Canon 400mm f/2.8 Mark II is simply superb. I am glad I had this lens with double 1.4X TCs (Canon & Sony) on the A9 via Metabones V when I was firing away at this owl playing with its food for about 20 seconds or so. What a show! Normally, it eats the bug it caught right away and that did so while perching on a branch made it special. Cross posted in the Nature & Wildlife Board.

Very nice. How do you like the lens for astro?
Thank you!
I like it quite a lot. Because of f/2.0 framing is easier compared to similar but slower lenses and you are able to capture a lot of detail in a single exposure.
