Boke highlights studies continue For this kind of "museum" shooting it was nice to have autofocus after shooting mainly with manual focus lenses 10+ years. Thou I had to use manual focus for ~10% of photos due to small area AF not focusing at all, just hunting, and large area AF focusing to incorrect places. If I would shoot more this kind of scenes the loCA of FE1.4/35 could become an issue, in naturephotos it's not an issue - GM85 seems to be pretty good also in this, at least @ f/1.7, I don't think I shoot any @ f/1.4.
Sony Distagon T* 1.4/35 FE @ f/1.4, 1/60s, A7R @ ISO 200
Sony FE 1.4/85 GM @ f/1.7, 1/100s, A7mkII @ ISO 250
Sony Distagon T* 1.4/35 FE @ f/1.4, 1/60s, A7R @ ISO 400
Sony Distagon T* 1.4/35 FE @ f/2.8, 1/60s, A7R @ ISO 1000 - it was difficult, but I managed to close down to f/2.8 for one shot

While looking for images taken with the GM 70-200mm lens for another FMer, I came across this one that I have not posted from an earlier portrait session. This is a significant crop of the original, which was actually a vertical format. Just for kicks, here it is.
