I have some shots from the Monolens too, but hesitate to post them here since I think that most people here will not like the style.
Certainly that's up to you, but as a fan I can say I'd like to see some, if only for technical reasons. But I'm sure you will be finding interesting and expressive ways to use it. That's only me, but you can judge by the "likes" you get (or don't get) how well it is received.
Yes, it was history and it happened long time ago but a recent visit to a plantation, Oak Alley, in the South left an impression on me. Over 220 men, women and children were enslaved at that sugar plantation. Dehumanized and quantified like any other commodity, they appear in sales records and inventories. Yet as people they have been forgotten by history. Currently, it is a place where you can look back into the dark side of history and imagine how it was back then.

To my mind, there continue to be some really nice images in this thread. So thanks everyone for sharing your posts.
On the subject of what defines images that will appeal to others, I actually do find it somehow more difficult lately to assess or even predict this. Frankly, I am also torn whether such criteria might too much restrict oneself to develop further or whether it should actually be a key criteria to assess whether and how far one evolves ...
