Ronny, this is spectacular
Impressive images from the usual suspects and all other contributors!!!
Some captures taken from the car window on the way back from White Pocket... the car shaked a lot due to the sand road but for the cow pic our driver Ron kindly stopped for a while Do you remember Joshua?
Edit: for pixel peepers, on the last one there is a rising moon just in the center of the frame

Peter, please stop feeding my seller's remorse with your lovely Loxia 50 shots.
Manuel, lovely set! Derek, as well!
Gregg, it didn't take you long to get the hang of that Contax...
Detail from a full size flower shot. Otus 55 with a 8mm tube.
Oops sorry Philippe, another Loxia 50 shot although, in truth, I have little sympathy for you as your review is one of the reasons I bought the thing in the first place! Some help from Ronny also.
A few years ago I bought a Rokkor 250 reflex lens here in West Dorset for about £140. It was fun but didn't get used that much so I sold it on ebay in 2016 to a dealer in Hong Kong for £937 and bought the Loxia 50 plus my much loved 135/4 Tele Elmar with the proceeds (not forgetting ebay and PayPals cuts, of course!).
Toulon has a fantastic Sunday market (like so many other places in France!) and this is just a tiny part.
While I liked this lens, it didn't blow me away compared to the Sigma Art 50, for my style of shooting, so it's on it's way back to the vendor, after about 72 hrs of ownership.
(Yeah, yeah, let the flogging begin...)
Rented an a9 for the weekend...woah. The AF is tremendous--the first photo is my dog running toward me. AF was spot on even at 1.8 for nearly the whole run
Heavily cropped. Some wind-driven movement, and shot in heavily overcast early evening light. Lens still does a decent job, wide open. especially for something not built for (pseudo)macro use.
