Are you back in California Manuel? Or is this from the trip earlier this year?

I got distracted for about 36 hours and then I found incredible images in the last pages... kudos everyone!
From the image quality it seems all lenses used are special but maybe, as noted by Charles, is more a matter of who uses them

Proof that the act of shooting is sometimes (often?) enough on it's own. Great shots is just icing on the cake. Nice captures.
Thanks Mathieu ! Yes, sometimes I think that is true. There's the excitement of planning the trip, the travel and hiking/walking/hotel whatever, then getting up early (or staying up late or both) and the act of making on the fly decisions and taking the shots. Once you think you've nailed it and are on the way home the high starts to come down
I respectfully beg to differ, Kevin. As for me, the high is reached when I am in front of my computer. Was it "worth it"? Have I "nailed it"? Did i "get it" and have something lasting to show and keep? Or not. And, more often than not, the computer unveils a truth of its own. Some shots that I thought would turn out great, don't. And others, or parts of others, offer more than I'd seen or hoped for... And when I get up at 4 a.m. to "get the shots", it can feel really good, or much less so...

Haha different strokes for different folks. But you know the planning, the trip (if not closer to home), and being on site when the weather is perfect (or sometimes not) for your shot, is a big part of it. The processing is just the finale. It's all a bit like a romantic encounter
