More fabulous Lofoten shots Ronny! Looks cold though.
I can’t make up my mind whether I like this first long exposure one or not. It was taken using a Lee Big Stopper plus a Little Stopper. I think it might have looked better with a rougher sea.
The photo is of one of many Genoese defensive towers built on Corsica during the 16th century. The destruction of the seaward side of the tower in photo 2 is courtesy of the British Navy in the days when we were fighting the French. The British then copied the design of these towers and built replicas all over the place calling them Martello towers.
All the Genoese towers were built on dry land but this particular one now has its foundations under water as a result of rises in sea level.
