Here is another image from Venice; I hope you guys are not tired of them....
I think your Venice images are a spectacular advertisement for the 35mm f/1.4. Love what you do with it.
First attempt at some astro photography. Used the Irix 15mm, and unexpectedly managed to capture a Lyrid meteor:
Here are two crops taken from a 4 shot panorama I took (it's just too long to post here). These are the views of the world's 6th highest mountain, Cho Oyo (8,201m / 26,864 ft and the world's 15th highest, Gyachung Kang at 7,952m and 26,089 ft. Note the start of the Ngazomba glacier, the longest in the Himalayas, at the base of the mountain.
For comparison the highest (distance to the peak above sea level) of Denali, the highest mountain in North America, is ca. 6,200m / 20,000ft. I also learnt today that the Himalayas have more than the world's Top 100 highest mountains - incredible !
A7rii & Voigtlander 35/1.7 (probably taken at f8-11).

Love the shots, arduluth, especially that first one!
I'm going to see Mono for the first time tomorrow, only found out about the show last week and can't believe it's not a bigger venue (Lee's Palace in Toronto, only holds 600 people or so).
Hadn't thought about bringing a camera, but might!
Thank you much! Enjoy! They are really great live. Very intense. I was surprised they were the opener for this show, certainly a different crowd than usual.
