Great stuff as usual. I haven't visited this thread for some days. I have been spending more time shooting birds with my Nikon DSLRS. I am keeping an eye on the new a9 though.
Super grabs this page!
So earlier this year I change my route(for those who don't know, I'm a UPS driver by trade) from the ocean to the mountains of Santa Cruz after almost 18 yrs! Now I just see lots and lots of trees and funky roads!

@f8...one house about 3/4 mile down this driveway!
Treeeeeeess!!
I go down a little tiny ass road, and out pops a huge house!!
Joshua...thank you for the kind words from my grabs with the GM 85. No, it's not mine, it belongs to my good buddy who also has the Lox 21, ZM 35 1.4, FE 50 1.4, above lens, and he just got the GM 70-200(YESSSS!!!)...
It's so nice having friends, right?!
Gotta say though, the GM 85 is stupid nice. Really brilliant! The rendering between it and the FE 50 1.4 is very similar. The 50 really should be a GM, imo.

Hey Gregg, just noticed that you lost your beloved dog. I know exactly how you feel. About a year ago we lost our Mickey, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Since then there hasn't been a day that had gone by that I didn't think of him....

Derek, I was curious about your take on ZA 35. Lately you seem to have access to quite few interesting lenses and knowing your 'sebboh style' I was intrigued what your possible move could be, if any, towards 'bigger and better'.
At the end I feel you are true to your style and no major changes to your lens collection [35mm in this case] can be expected. Time wil tell, but I still enjoy your signature soft style with legacy lenses.
yeah, nehemiah has been letting me play with a number of his lenses. it's fun, but i'm definitely not moving towards bigger and better. i really liked both the zm 35/1.4 and the cv 35/1.7, neither is as good as the rx1 for me though. the ZA is automatically out for it's size. this is ridiculous:
