These are the last images from my Oregon trip. The first four are from Bandon Beach and the last one is from Cape Arago State Park just a little north from Bandon.
I did discover, too late, that my sensor is pretty dirty, so I had to do a lot of editing in the sky areas of these images to remove spots. All shot with A7II and FE 16-35mm.
This is using the same lens as Gregg's images above but stopped down to f/2.0. I don't post images of my favorite models, my grandkids, that often but here it is. They fight a lot but this is a sweet moment when they played together. She was showing her brother something. I know it is a tight crop for that but I am glad I caught both of them in the same focus plane, which is really hard to do as he moves around a lot while she is calmer.
It has been a while since being gone on the cruise with the Grandkids and then trying to catch up with everything on our return. Has taken a few days to just catch up with the great work of everyone. This thread never slows down.
Here are a few others from the NASA Space center with the 16-35 FE
Jack...wow! Really dig those. The last is incredible!
Butch...really nice. Need a vacation from the "vacation"?
Peire...loving the Pentax grabs. Especially M 50 1.4. I'm really curious about the A 50 1.2, as well. Ive heard great things about the 1.2?
Cgrille...super separation with the 200. Very nice.

It's easy for me to forget how blasted sharp is the Samyang UMC 14/2.8 (Canon mount)! I decided to dust it off yesterday, since I hadn't really used it critically since getting the a7R2.
Here's one shot wide open, manually focused with highest EVF magnification. Pretty impressive to me. As always, great color and contrast! LR profile seems to correct most of the wavy distortion, and not completely over-correct vignetting. For the price, this is probably still the best value out there for an UWA lens. I guess I'll temporarily shelve my lust for the CV or Laowa 15mm's! (Maybe a 12mm? )
No, those aren't Gypsies, exactly! My sister and brother-in-law are "camping" at our place for a few days on their nearly month-long meander through the Southwest.

I recently made a trip out to LA to visit a good friend of mine (which was a nice break from Minnesota) and used my a7ii with my C/Y Zeiss 28mm f2.8 and found it to be the perfect travel combo. (sorry for all the photos, I really tried to pick only my favorites)
Carl Zeiss Distagon T* 4/18 ZM (w/ Hoya +1 diopter as front-end filter) @ f/11, A7r @ HDR(100s, 150s, 216s) & ISO 100 - Lightroom Flat Field plugin to remove color cast
HDR with ridiculous small exposure differences was not used for dynamic range, but to enhance the "light beams" in the sky - fog changes all the time but "beams" remain in constant position => multiple exposures make the beams more visible.
