I haven't posted here in a while, but I must say this thread doesn't stand still and the images posted by the regulars are a feast for the eyes...thank you!
I was visiting with my daughter in Oregon recently and we took an overnight trip to the coast. I grabbed this shot just before we left Bandon on Sunday. A sunny and cool spring morning with lots of people enjoying a stroll (and some nice art work) on the beach. This was shot from the Face Rock Scenic Viewpoint area. A7II and FE 16-35mm f/4.
One more from my visit to Bandon the other day from a walk before (and during) sunrise. There was an alert during our 24 hour stay for "sneaker waves" which I had never heard of, but when I found out what they were capable of (sweeping unwary beach-goers out to sea), I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about shooting too close to the water and did not turn my back to the ocean. According to the gentleman at the front desk of our hotel, since January, 8 people have lost their lives on the Oregon coast due to these waves. A7II and FE 16-35mm.
Some truly great shots on these last few pages, including lots of flower shots which is what this one should be except the flowers aren't out yet! I hope you like the leaves!
