Thank you, Manuel! I absolutely remember that place . Superb images! You have not posted many images from your recent US visit here. Hey, the 16-35mm lens is a superb performer - so, why shouldn't it get stuck on your camera ?
My wife was sold on this idea and she got her wish. Yes, the view from inside the glass igloo is unique alright. The light show started fairly early that Tuesday evening at around 9:00PM and it lasted for about an hour when it started to fade but it came back fairly strong again around midnight or so. I used the light of my iPhone to enhance/light the foreground a bit. BTW, she managed to get a few decent images from that attempt .
The second image was shot earlier to show the glass igloo part of our cabin. And the third one of the Northern Lights was captured a short distance from our cabin (cross posted with Batis thread).

I remember that driving around Canyon du Verdon was long and rather tiresome.My car had suffered too - because of lots of turning one of the sealings from power steering was damaged resulting in liquid leak But views are gorgeous.
