One of the last compositions I shot while in Chicago. Walking back to the hotel after shooting a lackluster sunset at North Avenue Beach the waves on Lake Michigan were breaking over the seawall...I could not pass up the reflection in the water.
Some more from around our cabin in Sweden (the old building is not one of ours though), this time with A7II and CV Ultron 35/1.7 VM. I photographed many of the scenes with both my Lensbaby Sweet 50 and CV 35. In some cases I prefer one and sometimes the other. I have to say though that the Lensbaby shots are generally much easier to post process! Often they look great straight out of the camera with just the right white balance, contrast etc..
Sorry for all the great photos I know I've missed and haven't given 'Likes' to. I've been working on my new website, which is great fun most of the time but mind-numbingly frustrating at other times And also my new Instagram account (follow me at @thedragonsfather) which my daughter assures me should have been up and running at least 6-12 months before the website ! Oops.
Anyway it means I'm also processing work from trips 2-3 years ago in an effort to catch up and have the content I want for the site & blog.
I'm currently on Bruarfoss, Iceland from last year. I don't think I've posted the first one here before !
