Another shot from an informal engagement session favor for a friend...taken standing on a fence post with the A7R2 & Batis 18 above my head....good application for the tilting screen....
Beautiful as always Fred! I have read the posts about Yosemite with interest, because a lot seems to have changed since we were there about 14 years ago. It was in late September, the weather was beautiful and we were more or less alone the whole day! Perhaps it wasn't on a weekend, but still.
We went to our cabin in Sweden last week. It was relatively cold (between -16 and -22C), but sunny and no wind, so it was surprisingly pleasant and we took a couple of walks on the frozen lake.
Btw. someone told us that a few times a year the Sami people move hundreds of reindeers across the lake just past our cabin. Next time is supposed to be around Easter, so we plan to go there then and hope for the best. Reindeers are common in northern Scandinavia but I have never seen a huge herd before.
