Thank you!
I really like the CV 12/5.6 III. It's light and compact. I usually keep it in my jacket when hiking.
It's more challenging to compose at 12mm than it is at 15mm though. Any lens tilt will create undesirable distortion. At f/11 and lens at infinity, everything in the frame is sharp including close your close by foreground.
Thanks for that great info...now I really want one...
I had to buy from the Japan ..I've been looking in Europe for a long time without finding an ex
And neither I managed to fool Wilhelm and Manuel or their either
Nice Ronny! I picked one up too a few weeks ago. I'm using the same adapter as well.
Pretty stellar lens, actually surprised me (although from what I've seen here, I don't know why.)

The image is nothing spectacular, but I liked the translucence of the flower and especially the bokeh of the Batis 85. I'm just learning this lens. The tulip was really tilting at that angle.
Here is a crazy sunrise from last week. These were the colors in the sky no joke. It's probably the second best sunrise I've seen around town. Captured with the Loxia 21
Sheesh, this thread is humbling. So much talent from you people.
A few with the Laowa 12mm this evening......my CV 12mm arrives this Friday. Looking forward to comparing the two. Optically the Laowa is nice when stopped down to f/11, but I just got to have the sunstars and the small/light size/weight and the wonderful ergonomics of the CV.
^ David - what appetites did you shoot these images? I returned my Laowa because, wide open, the corners were very, very soft. These look like they were shot stopped down? I'm trying to figure out if I had a bad copy or if the lens is simply not that good in the corners wide open.

I pretty much shoot it at f/11. Corners look best at that aperture. Wide open? Yeah mine is pretty soft in the corners wide open.
Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to do some resolution comparisons to the CV 12mm.
