I just bought at a great price the most beat up Canon 200/1.8 I can ever imagine. The only thing missing is bullet holes. But the rendering is pretty sweet. Handheld at slower than 1/200 with in camera stabilization on

Hi Helena, i like the last one best !
Shots with some perspective and people in the center like in your last series work perfect for me.
You know i like experiments and challenges...
Keep on going !

Thanks, Travis! I would ask myself this question, what's my next lens narrower than that? If the answer is 25mm or narrower, then go for the 15mm. For anything wider, I would go for the 12mm.

I have the Batis 18 and 25 already. Since getting those I have not touched my Canon 17-40L...I just cant decide if 13mm is too wide...

You meant 12mm , right? No, absolutely not too wide. I was in the same boat before and I was afraid that the composition would be tough but after playing with the 10 and 12mm lens for a while, they are easy to use.
Fred can testify how easy it is to use the lens; right, Fred ? Awesome images from Yosemite, Fred !
Back to a studio image taken with a GM 24-70mm lens.

Thank you!
I really like the CV 12/5.6 III. It's light and compact. I usually keep it in my jacket when hiking.
It's more challenging to compose at 12mm than it is at 15mm though. Any lens tilt will create undesirable distortion. At f/11 and lens at infinity, everything in the frame is sharp including close your close by foreground.
