Couldn't decide between the color and black and white versions so I'll share both.
Loxia 85
Both versions are very nice to me, but the I like the mood better with the colours. Maybe for the BW version i would lower the highlights a tad to bring out the details around the car lights.
The Loxia 85 surely looks like a fantastic lens Keep posting more!
Another image from last night. A local fog had emerged and I headed down to a lake nearby to see if I was able to capture it. It was all dark by the time i got there, as it was around one and a half hour after sunset. Of course, I had forgot a head lamp, and I fumbled around with setting the aperture and counting aperture clicks. Luckily, it was only -5c, so my body allowed me to be patient

Hi Bob, Really shows what this great lens is capable of! I have the G90 and the G45. I'm interested in the current version of the Techart AF adapter. The first version wasn't all that impressive. How do you find the current one? And then, where did you find the current one? I can't find anything on the Techart site about it. Thanks! Steve
Steve, I believe I got the adapter off of eBay. The adapter works quite well although it's a bit slower than the current TAP for Leica. Not bad at all thought. The sound of the motor is quite grating but I guess it just takes getting used to.

Thanks Bob. Did the adapter come with up-to-date firmware or did you have to update it? Finding a site for firmware updates is pretty difficult and that has me a bit concerned. Thanks for your help! Steve
A group of us went to Barr Lake in Colorado to try and shoot some eagles. We never got very close to them. It is an amazing wildlife refuge with about 350 species of birds. We saw lots deer too. The second shot is a heavy crop showing some young eagles out on the edge of the ice.
Everyday sequence of events at Bosque del Apache, New Mexico captured during a recent birding trip. These images are somehow less of strict wildlife and actually more of environmental wildlife images. The last image is included to illustrate the situation that these migratory birds have to deal with every day . It is more a matter of survival for the coyote.

Firmware updates can be found using the android app. Mine was already up to date. The app is the same for both the contax G and TAP adapters.
