Both shots are great, but FWIW I prefer the first. I find the headlights in the second a distraction from the overall effect and I also like the fog in the first.
Visited an interesting place in London last weekend.
Roca London Gallery, part gallery, part office, part toilet/bath showroom. Designed by the late Zaha Hadid
We are in a big storm series. Last night a big slide blocked the river and flooded part of town for a time, some of my clients are trapped at home (they are fine) and getting around is a big adventure. Wildlife are down in valleys, a cougar on one neighbors porch, wish I had a shot of that. I think the California drought is over: the Sierras have just got 3 times this much! Skiing must be good, but I am nursing "the crud".
Great shots Manuel. I like both but prefer the first without the headlights. The lights seem to compete with the red tail lights trailing through the shot. I would be happy capturing either.
Not only the pace is still up there but It appears that the quality of the images posted on this thread is consistently impressive and maybe even getting better. I simply cannot name everybody that has contributed to this excellent image thread without leaving out anybody. So, I refrain from doing it but kudos to everyone! It seems that we are getting inspired from each other.
The main purpose of building the Malecón was to protect Havana from the water and the so-called Nortes, but in reality, it would end up serving more for nighttime promenades by Habaneros, for lovers and most of all for individual fishermen. Here a few images of Cars, New Buildings going up and a lone musician along the Malecon in Havana.
