This turns out to be a really nice little combo with the a7R and Sony 28/2. Really a wonderful little lens at a terrific price -- but I'm sure everyone already knows that!
Not well in focus (motion blur), but I like the colors and abstract graphic nature.
Here's a shot from a series I did this morning comparing Rokinon 14mm versions in Nikon F and Canon EF mount, via adapters for a7R. This shot taken with the Canon lens (Nikon shown on far right).
Fairly extensive PP in LRCC, including manual straightening, Bower lens profile, etc.
Shot at f/5.6, with focus on far garage door -- both lenses have extensive curvature of field, but center 50% of frame is extremely sharp. Overall frame would be better at f/8-11. I guess my standards are coming up, and hopes riding on eventually getting the the new Laowa 12mm to take care of my UUWA needs.
This flock showed up out of the blue last week passing through our backyard and fortunately happened to have my A7rii with 180 F2 apo on and close enough to grab it and snap some quick picts before they were gone.
First one is full-frame, the next 2 are crops of the first. Minimal color correction and no sharpening.
