Minolta MD 70-210/4 "beer can"-maybe it is because I'm not a great fan of zooms, that this lens had to wait more than 2 years before last saturday I took it out from the shelf.
Good/very good lens overall.Rich Minolta-Leica colours, smooth oof blurr (for a f4 lens),some easy to remove LoCa wo,(especially at the tele end thereabouts in contrasty lighting), plus some sharpness fall off wide open at the same fl.Handy mfd of only 1,2m.Stopped down to f8 it shows most of that shortcomings gone.

I finally got back to my a7R, after over a month away in the Pacific NW with my new 5DsR/16-35LIS combo.
Thanksgiving night movie (Dr. Strange) and dinner (Camacho's Mexican) at Universal Studios, Hollywood, followed by a brief walk-around there.
I am always jealous when I seen beautiful photos from Prague, Bruges, Paris, Rome, etc., but I forget how target-rich L.A. is -- everywhere you turn is something different and interesting.
My least used and least appreciated lens for the Sony has got to be my Sony 28/2. I seldom even test it, having found it fine, if boring, in all respects. But it turns out to be the perfect walk-around for scenery and casual architecture shooting. The camera and lens are only slightly larger than a P&S, yet the images are BIG on quality.
These are all quick grab shots and not technically perfect, but they aren't intended as advertising shots, except for this cute little camera combo.
My one regret is that the lens doesn't have IS for my a7R. Guess I'll have to put a a7RII on my list!
Tell me this couldn't be an awesome 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle! :)

That's one heck of an image you posted there. I haven't seen your images from White Pocket for a while. Please post some more.

Thank you, Ronny! Now, your images from Jökulsárlón make me want to go back there, too! Awesome images as always
Here are the last images of Mesquite Dunes in DV from a recent trip with Manuel and Nadim. Although the ripples are refreshed by wind, especially strong winds but in order to get pretty pristine dunes, you have to hike at least a mile or better yet 2 miles or so away from the parking lot. And that kind of hike in the sand is not really enjoyable, especially if you carry your gear. I managed to get pretty far and I veered off a little from the main path that most people take and I got down on my knee to photograph ripples from a low angle. On the way back to the parking lot, I discovered a practically undisturbed mound fairly close to the parking lot. I had to break out my gear again and took a few shots .
