Some more Fall Color with the Sony A7II and Canon FD 80-200L. I think this lens may be earning a permanent spot in my collection (still have to try the Contax 80-200 f/4 though.)
Haven't posted an image for a while - been way too busy. So many photos from this summer I haven't even culled yet, and not a ton of time for shooting lately. It's a bummer, but it's temporary. Looking forward to getting out into the snow - fall has finally given way to winter here.
My father in law's wife has wanted me to show her the northern lights for the last two years, but we haven't been able to make it work. I was finally able to share the lights with them when they were up for a weekend visit! I think they were both happy it didn't require a long wait or -20 F temps, either.
from my shoot on the 10th but I just edited this photo, was test shot, but I thought it was so lovely...and 1/15th of a SS handheld...BLESS THE 5 AXIS!!!!
I just found a different shot that I liked better than one I posted earlier. It is tricky to get the ultra wide angle shots lined up hand held. Anyway, here is a different version of the CV 12mm/5.6 at Sainte Chapelle:
And since we got to Florence, here are just a couple of quick grabs on the TAP. First with Leica 28 Summilux, wondering around trying to get over jet lag:
Then a couple more with The TAP and Leica 75/2 apo:

Love the first one in particular Bob, although the dog looks a bit sad wondering up the snowy path on its own........your new fiancé hasn't thrown him/her out has she?!!!
Only joking, she doesn't look the sort, at all!
PS: That dead fish in the ice under the jetty looks enormous!
Some photographs of other people taking photographs. The third one is heavily cropped and I guess counts as "street photography". My wife's comment was....did you take that?......er yes...........Why?
