No Canyons or Mountains around Bristol I'm afraid - but a 100 year commemoration of the Somme
this week and I managed to get in between the showers.
Over 19K dead in a day of battle. Incomprehensible. I listened to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History about WW1 recently. Having been a former soldier, those early years are just unbelievable and it wasn't that long ago.

I finally got my Leicaist Canon FD to Leica M adapter so I went for a lunch time walk with the Canon FD 200/2.8 SSC. I like the combo of AF (TAP) and in-body stabilization. Colors on this lens are very nice. As I stated earlier, for a FL I don't shoot very often, I am quite satisfied with the image quality coming from this $125 lens.
