More very good photos Michiel - definitely liking what I'm seeing from the C/Y 18/4 with you. If the new Zeiss FE lenses to be announced this year don't include something similar, I'll probably pick one of those up. (in the meantime, the Touit 12 on the Nex-7 is a pretty good 18mm solution, even though I need to carry the extra camera body around).
The speed and accuracy of the A7r's AF just blows me away. I could never have got these shots as crystal sharp at f2 with my 5DmkII where I had to focus & recompose because of the 9 focus points. Amazing camera, don't let anyone tell you its AF is slow, The light here for AF was just overhead room light.
yeah, i've been thinking that waiting till june probably won't save me any money considering i can get an a7 brand new now for under $1400. might as well enjoy it for a couple extra months. plus, i've been really unhappy using my nex-5n since the nex-7 broke. just can't get along well with that camera (comparing it to the rx1 isn't helping either).
i'm very happy with the performance on the a7r of my rokkors btw, i finally can have a digital version of my xd-11. the contax g28 is awesome btw at macro distances, as many others have noted it has ridiculous field curvature and vignetting at normal distances.

Another one from me "photo session" with my son Ted a few days ago.
Not 100% focus on the eyes, but hey can't expect that every time no matter how fast the autofocus is with a 2 year old... I'm happy if he actually looks in the camera, standing still, well..
I really like the 55 as a portrait lens!
