A few shots from a recent trip into Manhattan, New York. The first two taken at sunrise were part of a 240 shot Time Lapse Video I did from an 18th story balcony on 37th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues. I used the Sony Time Lapse App on my A7r2 with settings of a shot every 10 seconds over a 40 minute period. I started it at 15 minutes before sunrise and ended it at 25 minutes after. I posted it on my Instagram feed and the Empire State Building social media group asked me if they could re-post it on all there social media sites. Here is a link if you are interested in watching the Time Lapse Video:
A short stop at Reggio Emilia during my way to Tuscany. The reason i was not posting was a one week workshop on 'Fine Art Photography' held by Bruce Barnbaum (www.barnbaum.com) in Montisi, Tuscany.
When i came home a lot of work was waiting for me, well not only processing pics...
So, i am ok and try to keep up with the forum, so many great pages to check, it's incredible
Greetings all fellow photogs! It's been a few weeks since I've participated here. Too much business travel and no down time. Plus, this past weekend, my daughter married a wonderful guy. I mostly decided to let the hired photographer do his thing but couldn't resist grabbing a few (grainy) shots during the photo session. My son even grabbed my camera as I posed with my daughter. It was a happy day.
Congrats, Bob! I am happy for you, your daughter, her husband and the entire family, too, of course!
So far, I have been putting emphasis on the wildlife itself in my images from Costa Rica I posted here. So, the previous selection of the images was based more on the magnification of the object and in a few cases I even cropped the surrounding area somewhat to showcase the wildlife. In the second round of selection I included images that show more of the surrounding. So, these are more environmental captures rather than wildlife captures like the two below that were written off during the first selection. Thank you for looking.
