Incredible images from everyone! Too many to list, and too many awesome pix!! WOW!!
Wfrank...Talk about FRONT heavy with the 28-85!
Here are a bunch taken with my Rokkor 58 1.2 on the A7. The pseudo macro shots were taken using my Leica ElPro close-up adapter, and holding it in place with my hands while shooting at close to or at MFD...Pretty cool effect, I thought!
Thanks for looking,
Gregg
Picked up the 24-70/FE and decided to give it a whirl. I've been up and down on this lens from the get go but with a 30 day return policy, I figured this is the only way to decide.

No magic in what I've seen so far. Received notification two weeks ago that mine was ready to ship from BH. Unfortunately, after seeing initial shots from others, I decided to cancel.

I'm on the fence on this one too. Some reviewers like Fred and Tim Astley give it some high marks for a zoom but when compared agains the primes (as for almost any zoom), I think I just may be disappointed for the $$ spent.

I am curious what your conclusion will be.
I like the reviews of Tim Ashley and it will be nice to have an AF zoom for travelling.
