Joshua, Jose, Butch, Werner, Aeonism - all top notch stuff!
Here's a couple from last night. The clouds were lit by a nearly full moon. The wind was calm and it was a warm beautiful night for September in Minnesota.

Gregg and some others have included some images of their family which made me think of this Blog post on Snapshots. As we all work to reach the expertise and talent of Fred, Werner, Joshua, Helena, Ronny, Rene, Bob and all the others keep in mind those captures that may mean the most to others down the road and make sure you include them in your captures. (But continue posting your great ART here in FM)
Here’s a few of my snapshots from my trip to Cuba to remind me of the timing and changes about to take place on in this country stuck in the 50’s. This Restaurant - el figaro As you can see by the pictures visitors sign the wall documenting their visit. Some of the crew from the Rolling Stones group had stopped here and some of the members of Obama’s forward planning staff had been here prior to our visit. Good food and entertainment.
I have been enjoying your inspiring images from Cuba. Well done!

Thank you very much, Bob! Your lakeside images are truly impressive! Did you an FE version or is that still the M-version of your CV 15mm?
Wow! I missed a few days on the thread, and and and....I've got some catching up to do! Busy with work and the wifes out of town til late tomorrow so the boys and I have been "bach'n" it
Great pics everyone!

Though longer focal length lenses work great with the Techart Pro, I am finding the Voigtlander 10mm is much easier to use with a manual focus adapter. Using Fotodiox Pro dlx stretch, which can be adjusted to nail infinity focus at exactly the infinity mark. The depth of field is so great that it is almost point and shoot, as has been pointed out. The one of the spiral staircase isn't quite sharp, though its almost there, but at 1/3 sec, I felt I didn't do too badly!
Amazing light rays the other morning as the sun was rising behind my city. I took 7 groups of bracketed shots with 5 images per group. I ran each set through LR HDR Merge and then merged those 7 images again in LR using Panorama Merge. Final editing was done in PS CC, Color Efex, and a bit in On1.
Here is the link to the full size version if anyone wants to see the detail. I used the FE 55 since the Loxia 21 was not long enough to create the pano I had wanted. Although the FE 55 doesn't have as nice star bursts as the Loxia, the lens is very sharp.
Moonrise over the North Cascades from our camp. Zeiss 100-300 at about 200mm. These were hold your breath and hope shots since I didnt have my real tripod with me.
