Joshua -- You're making me jealous of that lens (and your talent!).

A few more from around the woods near the "cabin".
All shot with a7R and Canon FL 55/1.2, LRCC.
Thank you, Jim! Frankly, I didn't expect I would enjoy that lens that much.
Great shots of your Canon FL 55mm! It looks like you are spending more time up there than down here in SoCal, huh?
While at the Getty Center 2 days ago, there were two girls that took pictures of each other and I asked them politely whether I could take pictures of them as well. They obliged and here are two images using the 50mm C-Sonnar at f/1.7 via Techart Pro adapter. These are cross posts from the C-Sonnar thread.

Oh my gosh! Your shots with the 50 C-Sonnar are amazing. Wow. Fred is obviously an infectious influence.
Yes, I'm having fun with that little FL lens! But I've got to spend more time with my 50L now that I have the Sigma adapter. There is something special about these "soft" 50s, don't you think? Yours is right up there at the top of the pile!
I'm spending nearly half my time there, ostensibly working on the house to make it livable again, with the view to it being our retirement housing a few years down the road. I'm no expert hand at renovation, so I learn as I go with a little help and advice from a couple relatives there, and hanging out at Home Depot a lot. With no computer or high speed internet than my smartphone's wifi hotspot, I end up with a big inventory of images from the neighborhood and side trips to process when I get back --- you know the drill from your trip to CR! I'll just about deplete the supply before I go back next to batten down the hatches for the winter rains and collect more shots.
You've always been a very good photographer since I've been a forum member, but it seems this last year or so that your gear and capabilities are at their highest point yet.
It's always an inspiration looking at your latest offerings. Thanks for your posts!
Amazing thread! I let the "like" button to say thank you. The first two were shot with the smooth reflection app. Yesterday was the Moon Festival in some Asian countries. It was a cloudy night in Maryland but I am happy I was able to capture the clouds and the the moon in the same shot.
A few shots from a temple stay at Golgulsa. It is currently the only Korean temple where martial arts are practiced by the monks, an art form known as Sunmudo. Contax G90 and FE50/1.8

Jim, thank you so very much! Since I have been retired for a few years now, I put more time into photography and I do post more pictures, that's for sure. And yes, I am paying more attention to details in both the capturing as well as the post processing ends of photography.
House renovation is a tough job, especially if you do it by yourself but you will be richly rewarded at the end. And the proud feeling that you did it yourself will last forever.

Thank you very much, Dan!
Two images from the Getty Center but now taken outside at the garden.
Thank you very much, K-H.! I got lucky that day; there were clouds in the sky . Just straight blue would be boring and overcast sky will be rendered grey.
Gregg and some others have included some images of their family which made me think of this Blog post on Snapshots. As we all work to reach the expertise and talent of Fred, Werner, Joshua, Helena, Ronny, Rene, Bob and all the others keep in mind those captures that may mean the most to others down the road and make sure you include them in your captures. (But continue posting your great ART here in FM)
Here’s a few of my snapshots from my trip to Cuba to remind me of the timing and changes about to take place on in this country stuck in the 50’s. This Restaurant - el figaro As you can see by the pictures visitors sign the wall documenting their visit. Some of the crew from the Rolling Stones group had stopped here and some of the members of Obama’s forward planning staff had been here prior to our visit. Good food and entertainment.
