Lightpainting with the 85mm C/Y Sonnar
Very nice. Would you agree that the 85mm C/Y Sonnar is really a top lens even by today's standards?

Thanks. Both the 85mm and 100/3.5 are excellent and offer a lot once combined with the helicoid for closer focusing (although I didn't use it in those shots). Of course they don't have AF or a wider aperture of the GM/Batis.

Hi Mike,
I am now tempted to get C/Y 100/3.5 as well. What is your recommendation for a good helicoid.
Thank you.

I got one of these, cheaper than the Kipon. I 1st tried a different brand which vignetted very slightly, then got a Kipon, then DavidBM tried this one. I keep them dedicated to the lens No problem with vignetting.

All shot with the C/Y35-70/3.4. Tried writing lens info to EXIF with Lens Tagger but I couldn't get it to work this time. Every once in a while this happens and I don't know why. I apply Lens Tagger several times but it doesn't change EXIF. Then I move along to another image and it works fine. Any ideas?
