#2 and #3 are Minolta 1.2/58 I put the wrong exif into those, the aperture is correct.
Motivated by lens' size reduction options with A7/R I tossed one extra 2/35mm lens to a brew of 35mm lens keeping decision.
100% crops; not that it really matters in this case, but just to comply with the usual test posts
I had no time or light to create CornerFix template shots, so here it's what you get at f/5.6 with Biogon 2/35. I am sure it can be easily to correct.
So, is it worth it to mount partially recommanded RF lens on A7/R? If the size is right, heck yes!
At the end which lens is to stay? All tree */35 make kinda 1 lens to keep
I usually try to do as little enhancing as possible with the images but after months of snow coverage it can get to you and you have to do things to get a different look or it all begins to look the same...anyway, was driving today and went thru a wind storm this morning and caught this scene.
Editing photos from the 55/1.8 makes me feel a bit sad that I got 2 bad copies in a row or a bad A7 body. All my issues aside this lens is able to produce a special look. One I haven't seen in any of the many lenses that I've owned. Who knows I'll give the combo (a third copy and new A7) another chanche in the future.

Beeing a new owner of a a7r and new on this forum I want to thank you all for our magnificent input. It took about a week for me to get through all the posts and the result was that I have bought a Metabones III for my Canon lenses, a OM Zuiko 24mm/2,8 and Novoflex adapter. Found in my drawer an old Minolta MD 35-70 / 3,5 and was astonished about its quality. Here are some samples handheld. I'm going to play with all the following toys when we start getting some sunlight here after a dark winter.
