Thanks for the advice. i already have the Techart pro. it arrived yesterday and i was impressed with the very close focus on my OM 21mm and OM 16 mm fisheye. Care is needed with the fisheye distortions, but being able to get to within an inch or two opens up possibilities. I want to get a better picture before posting one. i was surprised how well built the Techart pro is.
Went out this morning and played with the CV Ultron 35/1.7 with a Techart Pro adapter. AF under these conditions is a little slow but AF is very achievable and useful. Al shots are wide open.

Thanks, Nadim and sorry for the delay in responding. It was hard to do it on a mobile device. I should have described it as "scripted" rather than "formal". It was more an on-the-spot shooting rather than pre-conceptedd.
