OK I hope it's working now. Maybe the issues were due to posting from my phone as my home computer is having problems with the FM site (only the User Agreement shows up no matter where I try to go). On the laptop now so fingers crossed !
This is a shot of the prayer flags at the top of Chelela (ca. 4,000m) in Bhutan. It was very early and the mist was swirling around creating a very atmospheric effect, at least to me !
However once I started processing this shot all I could think of was the French Revolution and a war scene. The irony.

Kevin, the painting you are thinking of is probably Delacroix: "la liberté guidant le peuple". That your picture looks like a Delacroix is hardly faint praise!
Gregg, Dmitri, lovely work. Gregg, your critter looks fine to me!

Thank you very much Philippe ! Indeed I found it strange that I could not get that painting out of head and found myself processing it with the aim of attempting the same evocative atmosphere. Not that I had even the faintest hope of replicating it

Wow... fantastic shots everyone!!!
Joshua superb series. The frog shots are amazing!
Werner, Ronnie, Bob, Gregg, Philippe... Great stuff! If I have left anyone out, I do apoligise

Joshua...absolutely stunning. Love the panning capture. Colors are blue look way cool
Gregg
A7rll and Tokina ATX 90 2.5 macro
My attempt to emulate Ronny! Except I DID miss focus!!
Thank you, Gregg! Those loud birds are really colorful. Too bad, I didn't quite catch their backside when in flight when they spread their wings and tails .
Your fly image is just fine, BTW. If they stay still for a second, you could try focus stacking. I would do that with some frogs in Costa Rica if I go back there again.

Amazing shots, Joshua. Forgive my curiosity, but did you use the 400 2.8 wide open a lot in the rain forest?
Thank you, Chris! I did and in a few cases I used a TC on it, too. But that's not something I could just handhold and get tack-sharp images, even at wide open and high ISO. Not at my age, at least .

Thank you, Charles! Wow, your portraits of that girl are really exquisite ! I would love to be able to take pictures of that girl. She knows you well and feels relaxed in front of your camera, which makes your portraits of her great.
Lightshow - wonderful and dreamy
Bowens - love the panos
Philippe - Love what you do with that Otus 28 but I'm sticking with my new Leica R
Joshua - Clarity, color and vividness are your hallmarks!
Gregg - Nice work with the ATX. I think you beat me in the lens lineup juggling arena!
Dmitri - Spectacular landscape of Moraine Lake
Rich - Love the composition and water movement
Calboy - Nice still life
Charles - You definitely need to photography the girl with the red hair more frequently . . . outstanding
Tim - That Pentax 28 is a winner!
Here's a 7-image pano with my new Leica R 28/2.8 E55. I'm really liking this lens . . .
Dimitris...incredible!
Charles...just WOW!! 'Nuff said...
Rich...really very nice!! I think you beat me in the lens lineup juggling arena!
Ha! I beat everyone in that respect! My motto is "too many lenses, not enough time!!"...
Love the pano, btw!
Beautiful Bob! I'd love to see a Leica 28/Batis 25 comparison. I know they are pretty far apart from a focal length perspective. But while you have both lenses, it would be somewhat interesting to me (and maybe others.)

Thank you, Bob! Our photography styles are similar to each other. I love that 7-exposure stitched image! I had that lens before, too. It is considered one the of best 28mm lenses around, even by today's standard.
My last image from downtown Los Angeles for the time being from this batch.

Tim, I plan to do that comparison. I shot some sunset/dusk images last night switching from one lens to the other. More comparison to follow, too.
