More with the Leica R 28/2.8 E55. Been doing some shooting with this lens next to the Batis 25. Subtle differences . . . the Leica is warmer but more on that later. For now, I just want to become 'one' with this lens and understand it better.
A few from me.
Trip to Norwich, UK
July 2016
Sony A7R II + Old Vivitar 28mm F/2.8 Auto wide angle manual lens
A few months ago I bought the lens + delivery for less than 10 pounds... didn't have the Canon Fd to Sony adapter and left the lens in the cupboard.
Two days ago I bough an adapter and what a gem The adapter is cheap and wobbly, but I like the results.

Thank you, Charles! Wow, your portraits of that girl are really exquisite ! I would love to be able to take pictures of that girl. She knows you well and feels relaxed in front of your camera, which makes your portraits of her great.
Thank you very much Joshua You are more than welcome to visit us in Australia anytime. This is my god daughter Alex, and I have taken photos since she was very young as she had a very special quality about her. She is well sought after by a number of photographers and clothing companies in Australia and she has an instagram page now.

Thank you Bob! The R 28/2 is a wonderful lens. It is not always about sharpness but subtle colors and feel.

Ronnie, thank you very much!! Your shots always amaze me. It is one thing to technically get the macro shots, but another to add so much personality and feel.

Thank you, Charles! Australia is the last continent that I have not visited. One fine day before too long, I will go down under for a visit and if feasible, I really would like to meet you and Marisa in person. We will see how things turn out, maybe next year some time. Thanks for the invite!
Back to images from Costa Rica and more from the red-eyed tree frog. They are really adorable, aren't they?
Let's do it before too long then. I will keep you updated. I would like to go back to get different angles, which I couldn't do yesterday.
Here are 2 additional images from a different angle showing more of the freeway traffic.
Anytime. That's one of my favorite shooting spots and I am starting to know it like the back of my hand. Just PM me with a day notice and I'll be good to go.
Here's a couple from a block away (based on where I think you shot yours). This was from a month or so ago.
Bob, stunning pano, and great work with your Leica!
Werner, as ever, splendid, spectacular shot!
Dale, another fan-club, of which I am a life member!
Lieutenant Z: the sort of city shots I can only dream of taking. Wow!
Brendan: my jaw dropped!
Tim: in hot summer days, what is better than a cool cascade shot. Nice!
Ronny: the Critter Master, as ever!
Joshua: both the city and the frog shots just made me go: Wow!
And Dmitri, and Puckman, and...
And, what could even be more impressive than these outstanding shots, so few that are less than interesting.... speaks volumes about all of you and this place....

another street scene taken with the 35 cron :
Again a VERY nice street capture and a great addition to the series. I particularly like the use of light here and the very aptly chosen processing, enhancing the mood and providing a perfect impression of the urban scenery and atmosphere.
