Two largish birds we encountered in CR. The first one is a seemingly "well-groomed" and colorful emerald toucanette and the other one is also pretty but very shy bird in the size of a large dove that was searching for food near our location of photographing humming birds.
Another great concert. Haven't gone through all the images yet, but these ones stuck out as I took them. The first two images are a punk band from the Twin Cities, high energy. Really fun, catchy stuff and a lot of personality. I tried to capture some of that energy in the second photo, to mixed results.
Here is another image of hummingbird from CR. Better be lucky than good and I got lucky as somehow there was a narrow ray of light on the hummingbird's claws and small feather area behind the claws, adding a little more impact to the overall image.
