Thanks, Ronny! Yes, that's the one!
You should go to CR and since you like nature, you will have the time of your life there. The heat was almost unbearable and I sweat a lot, the mosquitos were bad, they almost carried me alive and I applied generous amount of mosquito repellent but I gladly put up with all those minor inconveniences for being to able to seei and photograph that much nature.
I honestly can't keep up with this thread. I will say though some of the shots on this page alone are just jaw dropping. Amazing contributions everyone.
I haven't been able to shoot much, work has been hectic, and then family issues going on. I did have time today to re-aquire a macro lens. I decided I wanted one over the Batis 85 I had. So I traded in for a new Zeiss 100mm.
Tired of seeing images of wildlife from Costa Rica? Here is an image of an opening where the sunlight could get through inside the rainforest there for a change . But again, the main reason I went to CR is for the wildlife.
The second image is of spectacled owls; the father to the left and his almost grownup chick to the right. This is my first exposure to wildlife in this country. The owls were sizable but perched up there right under the canopy. Frankly, without the experience local guide, we would not be able to see them, let alone photograph them.
Joshua.... wow, absolutely stunning shots I never tire of these shots.
Ronnie, your shots have been amazing! You continue to amaze me with your captures. I was almost tempted to acquire the 100 MP again, seeing if there was some special magic in the lens, but it your skills that make this lens shine.
Werner, wonderful shots!
Rene, great series!!!
Everyone great shots!
