Edward, how is the ZM 25 doing on the A7? I see some smearing in the corners of your photo but otherwise ir looks good.
Hi Joakim,
No color shift and vignetting, but the smearing is there at all distances. For landscapes, it should be ok at f/8-f/11. Corners can be improved by focusing closer within reason. I posted my remarks in the RF wide angle thread with a couple of photos to illustrate the problem.
My review sample/rental of the A7 will be coming a little earlier now...I'll have it Tuesday and will (for a short period of time, anyway) be able to contribute to the thread. I have the FE 35 coming as well, and an FD to NEX adapter should be here tomorrow, so all my FD glass will get a run on it, so hopefully that'll mostly be successful.
My first couple of shots with the A7R, using the Novoflex adapter and Nikkor 50mm f1.8. Nothing special and JPEG sooc but I'm super impressed with the detail from this sensor. AWB leaves something to be desired though. Will see how AWB performs in other scenarios.

And what did you think of that first shutter sound?
Different, yes, loud and clunky and a bit retro compared to everything else I've been shooting. Just something to get used to but certainly not terrible.
