Night shot with Samyang 14mm 2.8. After shooting the series I realized that the inside of my adapter is reflective (shiny black paint) and caused some ghosting - not too apparent in this one but the flare near the light somewhat shows it. Some Gaffers tape seems to have solved the issue.
Hard image for web presentation, since people have so small displays, and this doesn't work in small size very well: Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 1.8/55 ZA @ f/1.8, 1/80s, A7r @ ISO 100, B+W Kaesemann Circular Polarizer MRC 58mm

What Is that a single large tree in the foreground? The picture looks so 3D even though the foreground tree and the one behind it somewhat blends in.
Single large tree ~10m/30feet from camera and other trees ~20m/60feet and hill ~30m/90feet in background. It's so hard to present this kind of image in web, as it barely works in 30" display (1600px height). Haven't yet printed this one and most likely won't print it as it won't have any "artistical value", but most likely would print to that kind of image where you see people viewing it move their head like owl (body remains stationary head moves left and right) trying to see behind the tree.
FE55 works pretty well with this kind of images, but clearly Otus 55 would be better as DOF would be almost one stop shallower. And in addition restless boke of FE55 makes it look like to have more structure and texture than there really is @ f/1.8.
A night shot with the SEL 10-18 on the A7r in fullframe mode.
The top and botton is cropped. The right side is cropped by 134px on the original file and LR5 correction is applied.
The camera was standing on a small wall with the battery grip attached and pressed down with my hands for the exposure.

Great input on multiple threads Samuli!
Have you had a chance yet to shoot any other alt lenses beside Zeiss ME/FE? Curious how you find Leica-R and Rokkor on A7/R.
Thanks - no, not really - it's ugly, dark and wet here - I almost always like to be outdoors, but it's so awful that I don't want to be any extra seconds outdoors, just what is required for going to work and other mandatory stuff.
In Crete I only used FE35, FE55 and ZE135 (did have ZE25 with me, but didn't find any suitable scenes for it. Leica R I have only shoot with 180 APO vibration tests with A7 with and without EFCS, with 50mm f/2 or 90mm f/2.8 I tested that Leica R adapter actually works. Not sure should I switch from Leitax (EF) mount back to original Leica R mount. Rokkor (and Canon FD 85L) I would like to shoot more, but it's so damn ugly outdoors. I could go and shoot city, but I really don't feel doing urban shooting. In addition to Leica R stuff, I really would like to check C/Y stuff (D28, S-Planar 60, S100, VS80-200, VS35-70) with A7(r), but it seems that I haven't yet even ordered C/Y adapter
