Thanks Ronny. Great to see this season's superb frog shots . I see from a few pages back that Manuel also seems to have nailed the hover fly images which encouraged me to have a go at some nice slow moving snails the other evening. Sadly not very good - more work is required! In the mean time, some more beech trees:

So I've learned even when tied to dock they wiggle....so no pixel peeping!

Had one of those terrible photo days today, where nothing works out quite right, the equipment lets me down, my timing is all off and I make things worse by filling up my SD card halfway through the shoot because I forgot to clear it before starting, forcing me to delete everything in order to keep shooting.
Needless to say, I came back home with a card filled with junk pics taken in terrible lighting with no common sense applied.
Chalk it up to a bad day and move on.
