Photo taken the evening of April, 16, 2016 at 6:33 PM of a field of Muscari "Bluebells" at Lock Ridge Park, Alburtis, PA. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7rM V3 and my Zeiss 35mm f1.4 Distagon ZM lens. ISO 400, lens set to f11 for 1/13 second. Exposure corrected by +0.12 Stops and processed with CornerFix and LR6.
My wife has been kind enough of do the driving this week so that I can hike to work. I've been loving it - nothing like a morning walk through the woods. I've also been digging this Nikon 35mm f/2.8 Pre-AI. I don't think I've seen images from this lens before. Great contrast and sharpness, even wide open, though you have to stop down to get the zone of sharpness larger. A solid lens.
A few ones of my nephew from the weekend we had in Kristiansand. All photos taken with Sony A7 and Leica Elmarit R 90. I love this lens! Sharp, contrasty and lovely colours. And a joy to use on the A7 due to the long focus throw.
Was there this morning very early with sun up. In fact my A7Rii and I took a bit of a shower in the ocean working the icebers---a rough rogue wave thought it was high time I washed a bit. Took a good hit. Had the camera set low on the tripod, so the A7Rii and I took a sizable splash. Insurance is a good thing But the Sony has worked fine ever since. Maybe Sony really has upped they weather sealing game, or maybe it will croak tomorrow. Time will tell.
Well I debated taking the 70-400gii. Glad I did. It and the EOS 24-70/4 have been my most used lenses-
