30 years ago there was 30-40 gas stations on Södermalm, one of the inner city islands of Stockholm. Today, last gas station closed down due to subtle/unclear environmental pressure. We paid some homage with a visit.
I took the crew down to the Redneck Riviera for their Spring Break last week - was able to get some more experience with the Batis 85 -
the DR of the a7r2 is magical - out of the camera, the kids were silhouettes (when shooting into the sunset) and it was no problem to lift the shadows and when shooting with the sunset to my back, it was nearly dark to my eye when i was taking some of those shots - and the Batis focused just fine.
Was looking for some used film lenses at a local used camera shop today and found a pretty good condition Pentax 50mm macro f4 Takumar SMC. Never owned a 50mm macro before =D
got a sigma 50/2.8 macro for film scanning a few weeks ago – wasn't happy with the minolta 50/3.5 + tubes and wanted something cheap that would natively go to 1:1. finally took it into the yard this evening to shoot something other than film to test it out:
