Bob's and Gregg's images with the Minolta 35-70 3.5 Macro and Contax 35-70 3.4 got me into the mood to bring out my Minolta 35-70 Macro. These were from the Calaveras Big Tree State Park yesterday with the Grandkids.
Gregg why were you going back to 3.5 after adapting to 2.8?
I have not been in this forum much lately, but, as usual, the regular contributors to this thread keep the engine running with some truly beautiful images.
Here are a couple of shots I took while testing out a lens I rented recently - Zeiss Milvus 50mm f/2 macro - what a gorgeous lens, both in terms of how it is built, and in what it delivers in terms of IQ. Though it is heavy, I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with it. Thanks for taking a look.

Keep them coming, ladies and gents. Haven't seen Helena posting for a while, miss her snow shots.

Thank you for saying that! The snow is almost gone now, so I doubt that there will be any more snow shots until next winter, unless we go to the mountains soon for some country skiing.
EDIT: Too funny, just now it started to snow again. So, maybe there will be some more show shots after all.
Yesterday it looked like spring though. A7 and CV 35/1.7:
