Thank you Gregg and likewise (#2 is my favorite - nice creative effect of flare)!
Funny, the rain turn into a heavy snowfall. I guess the April weather arrived early this year...
Ha,we call that the March weather,a couple of meridians down to the South.
This could be an example of how the position on the globe may influence national proverbs

Congrats!
It looks like you've decided to go the CV path after all. I am positive you won’t regret it.
Thanks! Yeah, after have used the Loxia 50 for a bit I started to appreciate my CV 50/1.5 more and like Jannik I have the C/Y 50/1.7 for when I want "super sharp" landscapes and for urban stuff. However, since I already have the lenses it's better to wait until I'm completely sure, instead of rushing to sell a couple of them and then maybe discover that I made the wrong choice.

The weather has been dreary all week and it looks like it'll be the same for at least another week. My partner has ten days off starting tomorrow and we had plans for skiing and various little car trips. Disappointing!
Anyway, CV Ultron 35/1.7 arrived on Tuesday and since there is no weather improvement in sight, yesterday I decided to ignore the rain and took a walk to try it out. Hard to assess a lens in this dull light but first impression is positive.
Really liked the mossy and curly branches and will return on some day with better light (and no rain!) and see if I can get some better shots. Perhaps wait until all snow is gone since I find the bright patches distracting.
Coming back to the well known places gives good results overtime, but 'm very pleased with what I can see allready from you.
It is difficult to make an open space with a few details look interesting. And you repeatedly show it is possible.
Why such a nick name "pizdets" - I'm asking because I know what it means - apologize in advance - just a question made for the sake of a sheer curiosity.Your abandoned barns/farm houses were one of the most interesting/refreshing pictures over the last few months.
This is very much like one I posted a few days ago but I have since noticed that it had a blurred breaking wave in the bottom left corner because of fairly long exposure. I have found another one that I think might work better so I am going to inflict this on you as well!

PS: Just noticed that the horizon wasn't straight so have corrected it.
Driving away winter, last weekend. This is a regional tradition in many towns/villages in the Kurpfalz area at the end of a colourful parade (sorry - no parade pics).
