Photo taken October 1, 2015 at 3: 14 PM looking across Heart Lake (Lake owned by the Adirondack Mountain Club), the Adirondack Mountains, Lake Placid, NY. Image taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens and my A7r. ISO 200, lens set to probably f11 for 1/160 second and processed in LR6.
A few more walk about images from yesterday, all with the Loxia 50. One of the things I really like about this lens is how easy it is for me to achieve critical focus. I don't know if it's the focus throw, MF Assist or a combination of both but I can focus quite fast. Of course, color, rendering, sharpness are wonderful.
^ Nice pics Gregg. But what are those colorful things on the ends of the branches of those trees. Here in MN, our trees are just branches with nothing colorful on their ends . . . maybe one day . . . before June!
We name him Bluey for obvious reasons. I can't remember if this was taken with the Zeiss 50 MP or the 100 MP. It's a bugger not having the exif data to fall back on.

Congrats on the Loxia 50 Bob! Love the first one above.
Beautiful B/Ws with lovely light Gregg!
A few from mine. At first I had some doubts about it for distant landscapes, such as #3 below, but then navmannz mentioned field curvature (thanks!), so I adjusted my focusing and think I have figured it out now.
These look great, Helena - the curvature threw me to start with too, as its the reverse of the Voigtlanders, which curve away towards the edges. I've been out with mine today and its working really well - will post some later - John
