Took my two new Loxias (35 & 50) for a day hike today, climbing up through forest to a waterfall that plunges over the edge of a high escarpment. Compared to using m-mount, I love their seamless integration with the camera, the reporting of aperture, and capture of exif - and the optics aren't too shabby either here are some examples from up at the top. And over the edge - cars at the bottom are where we started from...
Many fine shots in the last 3 pages, but some stand out "even more than others", to my eyes at least. Bob, your "signs" set is awesome, even by your lofty standards. Gregg, ditto your B&W set that follows it, though your flower shots aren't too shabby either. Charles, your flowers too. And Helena, though I couldn't see the flowers for the snow..:-)
Here are more flowers, of a slightly different kind. Otus 55@ f:2.0

We name him Bluey for obvious reasons. I can't remember if this was taken with the Zeiss 50 MP or the 100 MP. It's a bugger not having the exif data to fall back on.
He looks like our cat. Is it a siberian cat? Neva masquerade?
Canon nFD 100/2.0 is a very good lens.Sharp wide open with minimal CA and discernible 3D look.If it had more microcontrast and vivid colours it would have matched some Zeiss primes.
A7R+Canon nFD 100/2.0 wide open, during the grey dull day in the forest, when lighting had a strong greenish cast.
Olympus OM Zuiko 135/2.8 had to wait 6 months for it's first outing.I found it very good and similar to it's slower brother, the 135/3.5 OM.Here at f8.
And a few more from the Leica R Vario Elmar 35-70/4.0,wide open, which is so difficult to put off on the shelf.
Shots from Burleigh Heads this afternoon as the rain was approaching. The lighting was changing every 5 minutes as the heavy clouds were passing by.
